Finally... progress

After much discussion and debate, work is progressing in the basement. We've opted to keep things fairly simple although I'm sure there will be a few challenges to overcome. Below you'll find some newly hung 6-panel doors, audio/video tower (cords can be manipulated in the storage room, no more digging blindly), kitty door - rough opening, and the gutted area beneath the stairs (formerly housed a 1/4 full oil tank for the old furnace, thanks to my brother and dad for helping remove that).

We went to Barnes and Noble today to find some pictures and find more ideas, didn't have much luck, but was fun. We're thinking of incorporating a decent sized table in the fridge area to play games and reworking the "bar". We'll see how it takes shape.

The Wolf Whisperer?

Well... maybe not quite a whisperer yet, but she's getting there.

I thought I'd take a moment and show the more human side of Growing Up Wolf. My wife has spent the majority of her summer at the zoo and it is amazing how fast it truly flies by. Today we had a brief photo shoot to capture a few moments before the pups get any bigger. They seem to grow by the hour. I know she has had a fantastic time with them, as is evident in the pics.

After a few minutes of every pup checking out the new guy with the cool black thing (camera), it was photo time. Nicole will probably blast me for posting these pics as she was at the end of an 18 hour day at the zoo. Midnight to 6pm... good times.

Nicole and Moose enjoying the afternoon.

"Red" or "Moose", he's the biggest of them all.

What's blooming?

This is what's currently flowering the best in our yard. Its fun to watch it change throughout the year. I'm kind of laughing at the topic of my post because it seems so insignificant compared to our good friends at "John and Sara Times". Check out their link on the right.
