A week vacation!

We spent all of last week in Ely, MN and along the north shore of Lake Superior. All told, we spent 1 night in Ely, 2 at Cascade River State Park (SP), 1 at Temperance River SP, 1 at George Crosby Manitou SP, and 1 at Split Rock Lighthouse SP. It was a good time, a little bit of rain, cool temps, some sun, Ole and Svens legendary pizza, a slightly scary moose experience (we think and hope it was a moose), and some quality time together. Below are a few highlights.

The Beer Boot

As always... I am chuckling a little bit about the topic I am posting about. The vast majority of friends and coworkers are amidst the "kid experience", even today I had a coworker announce she was pregnant and expecting her second child. So... without further delay, I humbly present our newest addition to a little bit of fun in the Lee household, our German beer boot.

I'm sure you are all enthralled, but for those that want to learn more you can click on this link.

WMSTR

We finally made it to the Western Minnesota's Steam Thrashers Reunion over the labor day weekend. I hadn't been there for a few years and Nicole had never been there. There was so much to see, here is a bit from our trip.
