Introducting Koyuk
Well... here he is. My wife was kind enought to pose with him. He's been a good puppy overall so far. He's getting quieter at night (he gets bathroom breaks at 12:30 and 3:15. We look forward to weaning him down to once a night, then we can worry about the whole night.
Currently, his issue is staying at home alone. Let's just say that his white face and legs have a brown hue after a while. Poor guy is still learning to cop with anxiety. It'll get better though. More action shots to follow.

I think Koyuk has a good home. How are the kitties coping?
Kitties... not so good. Cica manages to walk by him when he's in the crate. Kochka has basically lived downstairs for a week. We miss them.
Honestly, we're wondering if we made a mistake on getting him. Been kind of rough on us (mainly me) the last few days. I thought I was prepared for a dog, but wow, even after talking about it for 3 years.
Hang in there! After 6 months you'll get one good night's sleep and it will all be worth it :)
I think Bluefin will be a great reprieve.
Adorable! Reminds us of Blitzer (our former husky). She was lots of work as a puppy but keep at it! Husky's are SMART! We trained her to ring a bell when she wanted to go out. Adam has a tip for you: he found a great horse comb for Blitzer called a Metal Curry. He brushed her every day and it really helped with the hair...especially when she blew her coat in the spring. Did you get Koyuk from Crume Kennels?
